Located in Davenport, central Florida, White Rose Villa is within two minutes of Interstate 4 – the main carriageway linking the east and west coasts.

On the east side you have the Atlantic coast (or Space Coast as it is sometimes known) and Daytona Speedway and the drive-on beach. Slightly further south you can have a star spangled day at Kennedy Space Center and if you are lucky you may even get to see a rocket lift-off. A sight that will leave you awe struck.

Cocoa beach is just one hours drive away and here you can experience deep sea fishing or try parasailing. You could even try your luck at the tables on a casino cruise ship.

For warmer waters you may want to head west and over the extraordinary long bridges that link Tampa and the Pinellas peninsula where you will find Clearwater and St Petersburg.

Set on the Gulf Coast, Clearwater has beautiful white sand beaches and the gulf waters are clear and warm. At the villa you will find a Roller Cooler to keep all your drinks and food fresh – so why not make a whole day of it.

The Pinellas peninsula is just one hours drive away and makes for an excellent day trip.

In Tampa, Busch Gardens is an excellent more traditional theme park with a good old-fashioned wooden roller coaster – the Gwazi. Or take in the amazing spectacle of an American Football game and visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Football season runs from September to December.

Florida also has the Everglades, which is a National Park where you can ride an airboat through the Mangrove Jungles through to the sawgrass prairies. Fishing, canoeing and even taking a boat out to see manatees are all available at the Everglades.

Funky Miami is a real hot spot for night life, restaurants and of course tattooing – made famous by Miami Ink. If you are looking for something a little more arty you will not be disappointed with the recently opened Arsht Center hosting the widest range of performances available. The Miami Dophins season runs from September to December for football fans. Both the Everglades and Miami are about three hours away.
